The show, which is open to all, will feature two headliner comedians – Rodney Laney and Robyn Schall – appearing at the synagogue on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m.
Schall and Laney, both rising stars in the comedy world, have appeared at Live at Gotham, Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, Stand Up New York and Caroline’s on Broadway.
Laney’s television appearances include CBS’s “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” HBO’s “Bad Boys of Comedy,” Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and TBS’s “Just for Laughs Chicago.” Schall was named one of CBS.com’s “Top 5 standout comics in NY.” She has been featured in the NY Comedy Festival and is the star of two popular web- series titled “Not the Sharpest Crayon” and "Dumbbelles."
Comedy Night, held in the Beth El social hall at 109 East Ave., is a BYOB event. The cost is $40 per person ($36 if paid before Dec. 1) which includes snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and dessert. Preferred-seating, sponsor tables for 8-10 are also available for a donation of $500.
